Reduce, convert, and remove hexavalent chromium

“Awareness is key. In the absence of information, none of us know what is happening and what could be jeopardizing our health, our water supply, and our planet.” – Erin Brockovich

Pureflow removes hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) using both ion exchange and reduction-based treatment processes, selected based on site conditions and waste handling requirements. Ion exchange systems utilize selective anion exchange resins to remove dissolved chromate from the water stream, providing consistent, high-quality effluent and flexible options for either regenerable or disposable resin operation. In reduction-based systems, Cr(VI) is chemically converted to trivalent chromium (Cr(III)), which then precipitates and is removed through downstream filtration and solids handling processes.

By integrating these approaches, Pureflow delivers engineered solutions that can balance performance, operational complexity, and residual management, ensuring compliance with regulatory limits while maintaining reliable, long-term system operation for municipal and industrial applications.
